Rentals Fees: $2,500.00 - 75 or fewer guests, no Saturday bookings, OR,  $4,500.00 - 76-250 guests, may book any open date; a per-person fee is added for events over 250 guests.

Earle-Harrison House & Pape Gardens is a beautiful backdrop for weddings and receptions with amenities that make it very affordable. Renters may occupy the property for up to 12 hours. Our permanent 60x90 (5400 sf) white, high-pole tent is sited over a two-tiered, stained cement floor - ample enough to seat 250 guests w/ a dancefloor. The tent has detachable cathedral window sidewalls, offering inclement weather protection for your event, fans or heaters add comfort  as the weather dictates. Made from blockout fabric, the tent’s material decreases outdoor temperatures by 15%; it's center poles are 27’ high. Spotlights on dimmers, & 100+ 8"-36" white Chinese paper lanterns are strung between the interior poles to provide ample light. A 200-amp box, and electrical plugs line the tent’s perimeter – power will never be an issue. Exterior beds are landscaped, tent poles are planted with jasmine and ivy; the surrounding grass is shaded by mature pecan and oak trees and offers extra seating space. Walkways provide guests access to Pape Gardens’ major features including a double gazebo which is popular for weddings.

Our two rental packages include the same long list of services and amenities: complete setup/teardown/cleanup, white chairs, round, rectangular & cocktail tables, floor-length linens, PA systems, a staffed golf cart, and an extensive inventory of both decorative and functional items - renters seldom bring much in. Our goal for families is a day of celebration with as little stress as possible - together we'll plan and execute its many details to make sure it happens.

Portraits

If your event is to be held elsewhere but you'd like to schedule bridal portraits with your photographer at Earle-Harrison House & Pape Gardens, appointments can be setup for weekdays only. The home's handhewn columns and veranda offer old Southern charm to bridal or engagement photography. A dressing room with full-length mirrors allows you to dress on-site. Photos may be taken in Earle-Harrison House and on the grounds. (Note: portraits with your photographer are included in our rental packages.)
